Dave Dalton moved to Auckland from Upper Hutt in 1960 and entered into Cuthbert Dalton Electrical in 1961.

In 1966 Dave formed D.G. Dalton & Co Ltd and set off on his own with his first apprentice.

In 1979 D.G. Dalton & Co Ltd moved from being a home based company to its first workshop in Panmure.

In 1987 a new workshop was built in Jelicoe Rd and Richard Cotton joined the team to provide the high-tech electronic edge that he still displays today.

Bruce Dalton was put to work maintaining the company image at an early age and joined D.G. Dalton & Co Ltd in 1991 to lead the service team.

In 1996 after a car tried to demolish our workshop and the Railway lease became uneconomic, the now Dalton Electrical Co. Ltd. moved to the centre of Auckland's Industrial area where we still remain today.

In 2006 Dalton Electrical celebrated 40 years in business, still providing the same high-quality service and still with some of the same customers that we have had since the beginning.
