Availability:

We have a large fleet of service vehicles on the road across Auckland, all equipped with modern information and job management systems operated by our highly skilled personnel. Dalton Electrical have both Electrical service, and Automation technicians on call 24 hours a day 7 days a week for our customers.

Emergency Lighting

Dalton Electrical is IQP registered so if we are checking your emergency lights as part of our monthly checks there is no need for an annual emergency lighting inspection for your building WOF. We can also repair the fittings in house to avoid costly replacement Fittings

Compliance Testing to AS/NZS 3760

All appliance and electrical leads in commercial and industrial buildings are required to be tested and tagged to prove their electrical safety. As this can turn into a major job for large clients we include this in our monthly visits and do a different area of the building each time. This ensures your equipment is safe and you are complying with AS/NZS 3760.

Factory Maintenance

Routine maintenance is critical to ensure that your factory runs smoothly. Dalton Electrical can offer tailored electrical planned maintenance programs to minimise disruptions to your business operations and focuses on the following key areas:

  • Inspecting machine panels, cleaning, filters, tightening terminals, rust prevention.
  • Conduits, cables and wiring system degradation
  • Safety switch testing and compliance
  • Co-ordination with onsite managers, onsite engineers and machine operators

We believe un-planned and costly downtime can be minimised through regular inspection and maintenance and non-urgent required repairs can be completed at a time when production allows.

Thermography

Thermography is a non-destructive, non-intrusive, non-contact means of detecting Infrared Radiation enabling the thermographer to see and measure accurate temperatures and variations in emitted infrared energy. Thermographic Imaging, commonly known Hot Spot detection, is the most cost-effective method of determining faults in Electrical and Mechanical equipment for Industrial and Commercial businesses.

 Loss Prevention, Catastrophic Failure and Predictive Maintenance are an extremely important application for Infrared Thermography. A regular Thermal Imaging Survey and development of a condition monitoring program for your electrical equipment can reduce the risk of fire, highlight any potential problems and allow preventive maintenance to be carried out before issues become more severe.
